Company's Bio (Pitch Deck): Best in Grow began when co-founders Andrew Duffy and Jake Levin, best friends and classmates at Harvard University, left their careers in East Coast finance to turn their expertise in consumer psychology, software development, and consumer product analysis towards the burgeoning legal cannabis industry. After graduating from the Canopy Boulder accelerator, the U.S.’s only accelerator for ancillary cannabis technology, Best in Grow raised a significantly oversubscribed angel round to complete development on V1 of the Best in Grow platform, a software tool that allows cannabis dispensaries to maximize revenue by optimizing their most powerful asset: the point of sale employee (“budtender”). 92% of consumers take the exact recommendation of the budtender when they make a dispensary purchase — Best in Grow helps dispensaries to train and retain best in class employees and offers cannabis brands the opportunity to communicate with, pull data from, and market to these critical cannabis influencers. Growth Plan (Pitch Deck): Best in Grow has developed and validated a highly scalable software tool with a unique product-market fit for brick and mortar retail operations, offering potential for expansion outside of the cannabis vertical and into a significantly larger addressable market (450,000 B&M retailers across the U.S.). Proceeds from this capital raise will allow for 24 months of runway to attack several key milestone goals, including: 35% Colorado market saturation, 10% saturation in three additional U.S. states and Canada, and development of Best in Grow's V2 suite of brand data tools. This will allow us to expand our current revenue stream, develop additional revenue streams, and create a market footprint large enough to become a potential acquisition target for large existing players in cannabis technology or future market entrants expanding from traditional verticals.
